In the world of paper model designers, MaksArt is a rising shining star. Over the last decade he has designed and released 80+ very detailed and very buildable models, all of Russian subjects. All his designs are very generously free to download, although some have also been picked up – in slightly different versions – by some of the mainstream model publishers.

MaksArt’s current project is the Yak-130, which he has been working on over the northern summer. It’s almost at the stage of a test build and is looking pretty good. Here’s a little teaser of what the design is looking like so far:
